About the event
The Palestinian restaurant Ayat has been generous enough to invite the Jewish community to a Shabbat event at Ayat's Ditmas Park location this Friday, January 26 at 9pm. It's located at 1618 Cortelyou Rd in Brooklyn. The event will be free!
Ayat will provide their delicious Palestinian food, as well as a kosher catered buffet for those who keep kosher.
Laura Elkeslassy will be leading ritual for this event - which happens to be on Shabbat Shira!
We're so excited to offer Arab Jewish music at this event. It's a wonderful opportunity to show up for our Palestinian neighbors in this difficult time, and show that our community is in the fight for Palestinian liberation alongside them.
